Registration Information
Registration for the 2011-2012 season is open.
Please be aware that USA Hockey is no longer sanctioning Inline or Roller Hockey. SIHL will now be sanctioned by USA Roller Sports (USARS). Due to the changes required to make the switch from USA Hockey to USARS, registration is a bit different than it has been the last 2 years. Please see below for detailed instructions.
For the 2011-2012 season registration will be via this website for Sierra Inline Hockey League (SIHL) and via a paper form for USA Roller Sports. We will collect the costs for both in one fee, when you register with SIHL, the $30 USARS fee has been added to the SIHL fee. Below is information and links to register with both organizations. If you are registering more than one player you will need to register each player with USARS and SIHL individually. For SIHL there are discounts when registering more than 1 youth player.
You must be registered with both USARS and SIHL in order to skate on the SIHL rink. This includes any open skates, tryouts, practices, games or other skating events.
Registration Instructions
Players ages are determined by their age as of 12/31/2011. Here is what age group youth skaters should be registering for.
8U: 4-8 Years old as of 12/31/2011
10U: 9-10 Years old as of 12/31/2011
12U: 11-12 Years old as of 12/31/2011
14U: 13-14 Years old as of 12/31/2011
17U: 15-18 Years old as of 12/31/2011 (Must still be in High School if over 18)
Female players may play down one age group if they choose to. Some players may be allowed to play up an age division based on their size and/or skill.
USARS Costs
USARS registration costs $30 ($10 for this year and $20 for 2012. We have to collect both now as USARS works on a calendar year and we do not) and is included in the SIHL registration fee. All players are required to pay $30 to register with USARS. This is to cover the player for insurance purposes for the 2011-2012 season and to allow us to be a USARS sanctioned league.

Youth Costs
- 8 & Under Instructional League: $30
- Skaters 10 & Under thru 17 & Under: $100 for the 1st child, $80 for second child, $60 each for the 3rd child and above (You will need to complete the SIHL registration form for each player but can pay for them in one transaction). If you need to register more than 3 youth players please contact us at admin@sierrainline.com.
- Goalies 10 & Under thru 17 & Under: $30
SIHL Adult Costs
- Adult A or B Skater: $155 on or before 11/15/2011
- Adult A or B Skater: $175 after 11/15/2011
- Adult League A or B Goalie: $85
- Skater in one Leagues, Goalie in the other: $185
- Skater in both A & B Leagues: $265
Registration Links
SIHL
Click on the Register with SIHL link below and complete the registration information for the player(s) you are registering. You will then be taken to a page where you will select the age group and division the player is in. Next you will be taken to PayPal to process payment. A confirmation of your payment will be emailed to you. Once you have completed payment with PayPal you can close the PayPal window and return to the SIHL site.
USARS
To register with USARS click the Registration Form link above. This will open the USARS registration form in a seperate window. Print and fill out the form for each player you are registering. Please check the "House($20)____" option on the "INLINE HOCKEY INCLUDES:" line on the form. Then bring the completed form to the rink and give it to an SIHL Board Member. The player can now skate.
